Silver Springs Vineyards Pinot Noir

Very slight oxidation fault caused a bruised apple note at first. Pale ruby color, on the nose fresh raspberry, stewed tomato, dried hibiscus, potpourri, black tea, black pepper, cocoa, clove, espresso, leather, vanilla. On the palate, somewhat acidic with powdery tannins and a medium finish. Quite savory—the oak is more prominent than the fruit. After decanting, the wine’s fruit works its way through nicely.
