Very tasty but ends mid palate so a little short. Tasty though. Should be better.

Similiar observations to other TNs, wound up pretty tight on PnP, plenty left in the tank but perfectly fine to drink now too with 4+ hour decant which it greatly benefited from, smoothing out to pair perfectly w/pan-seared T-Bone and twice baked potatoes.

Sweet black cherry, plum-like fruit with intense notes of cassis, lavender, mocha along with a slight spice on the finish. While not overly complex, this is a smooth, easy drinking Cabernet.

This has entered its drinking window. Lovely and balanced. Top note of cherries. Lush but lithe body and nice herbal, oak, vanilla finish. Wish I had a few more bottles.

Has improved over time. Excellent depth and balance. Still displays enough tannin and acid to continue to evolve and improve. Drink now or see what happens in 2022. Either way you win and at a reasonable price too!

Note below still applies. 5/30/2019 Continues to be one of the best QPR Cabernets I've come across. Absolute stunner especially after about an hour of decanting. Brooding plum, cherry, blue fruits and as it warms the spices really start to come out. velvety fine tannins and extremely well balanced. Get ready for purple teeth!

4th Saturday group "uptown" tasting (R&D's) : Black currant and plum aromas follow through on the palate. Full-bodied, with spice and vanilla elements as well. Medium+ finish.

Dark garnet red. No decant. Nose of red fruits: raspberry, red cherry, red plum, hint of mocha and dust. High alcohol. Palate is a lot of the same red fruit with almost ancandied aspect. Definitely fruit forward. Only small amount of earth. Medium finish. After 1-2 hours, opened beautifully showing more tertiary notes such as dusty earth/clay, hint of graphite and wonderful floral, perfumed notes. Winemaker is first generation French now living/working in CA. After much aeration, you start to …

This wine produced the WOW factor I was hoping for, even at this young age. Decanted for an hour and consumed over the following two. Nose was constantly evolving with aromas including coconut, blackberry, toasted bread, dark cherry, earth and blueberry. Flavor profile included black and blue fruits, plum, dark chocolate, cocoa, cherry, cedar and raspberry carried throughout on a backbone of graphite. A thick, rich mouthfeel with a balanced, silky texture, this wine included a generous, medium long finish. …

Knightsbridge Cabernet Tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shoppe) : Retailer tasting. Dark fruit leads the way with earthy clay, herb, dried wood and cedar underneath. More red-fruited than dark on the palate with a nice warm peppery spice in the finish. Nice finish. Adds a subtle floral element with air.

I love this wine and it’s a steal for QPR! Mostly Coombsville (AVA gaining massive popularity) fruit I believe here. Black cherry, raspberry, plum, wet clay, graphite, cocoa, and mocha on the nose and it just keeps evolving. What I love here is the FRUIT (not the oak) really shines in this wine! Juicy plum, cedar and graphite carry to the palate for me. Glad I have several more and will stock up more if I find them! Recently had …

Chocolate and herbs on the nose. Blackberry and dark cherry on the palate. Great acidity, chalky tannins. Nice balance. Short finish that features dark fruits and cleansing acidity. Nothing spectacular here, but quite nice. My last bottle, but if you have any, I'd think they would drink nicely for 3 to 4 years more.

Wonderful. Already markedly different in the 7 months since my last bottle which I gave a score of 91. Deep dark in color, rich, dark fruit on the nose with some earth and fresh air. Very fine, fruit-forward Napa Cab with some moss and graphite notes. A full, velvety mouth-feel - almost chewy. Super soft, but firm tannins with such an elegant finish.

Pop n poured with some friends. Almost definitely would have benefited from decanting as just seemed a bit closed as not as good as the time I had this at a tasting. Still decent - not overly oaked, good balance for cab. 89+

Dark purple color. The nose is kicking with fresh currants, black cherries, fig as well as well as tobacco and mocha. Medium-grain tannins and surprisingly fresh acid make this a balanced and easy-drinking cabernet. A juicy mix of sweet blackberries and gushing cherries leads to notes of tobacco and baking spices. Overall, this wine has a creamy mouthfeel, well-placed toast and hints of hazelnut. Impressive finish. Seems like a candidate for the cellar.

Night 1: thin and watery edges that dominated the wine. There are glimpses of old leather, dust, and black fruit. Hope it will improve on day 2. I told the wife this reminded me of a decent restaurant house wine. I would pin it as a $15-20 wine. Night 2: All of the same components but the thin/watery tones were less and the core was more plus added a touch of oak. Not bad but would put at par with …
