3 hour decant. Hitting the spot nicely today - subtle, restrained, but juicy fruit around dark red - decent amount of yum - fair finish

2 hour decant. Decent enough, workaday wine.

1 hour decant. Today I'm quite enjoying this - light and subtle, yes, delicate - some cherries, but quite in the background - airy and quite attractive - a bit short, perhaps, but this isn't the price of a decent Burgundy, so that's OK.

4 hour decant. 13.5%. Só Pinot Noir. 2000 bottles made. There's not a lot of Pinot here in Portugal, so this is quite different - slightly pink-purple - tight nose - smokey cherries - clean, light and fresh - nicely grippy - very fine finish - nice wine this.

Fresquisimo. Necesito hacerme con botellas.

4 hour decant. These Portuguese Pinots (I've had a few now) are so very different to the usual "Portuguese" fare, that one really needs to approach them with a different mindset - light and subtle with a hint of fizz but without any bubbles - background of cherry - moderate finish - this was OK with lunch at EHT - perhaps it needs some more time to come together?

3 hour decant. Decent, light-coloured fruity, lightweight and airy drop of splodge - this will do for bottle 2 at tonight's dinner.

Less tannic (and alcoholic) than expected -- very nice spice and complexity, has a "mature claret" taste to it. Doubt this is going to improve significantly with age, but good depth and length already to enjoy now.

Today I was at lunch with Nuno at Fonte d'Avis (where I was buying some more of his most excellent wine), and I took this along. 2 hour decant. We both agreed this was a pleasant enough, lightweight drop suitable for a long languid lunch in the Alentejan summer.

"Campolargo" week ends with this Baga blend - purple, not much in the nose - just your basic, rich with a slight edge, fruity, "wine-like" wine - not as classy as the rest of the opus, but worth the cheaper price.

Ok wine. I was expecting something much more austere and tannic, but this is relatively easy drinking. Lacking serious complexity and concentration. Shows some nice red fruits.
