Quite dissapointing. I always tell my friends tha Priorat is one of those ‘you can’t go wrong’ denominations. Because anything that get’s exported is good quality. This bottle isn’t worth the €16,99 price tag. It is a rather generic Grenache, spicy but a bit lean. Paled in comparison with the, twice as expensive, Salmos I had a few days ago. Which I already less appreciated than previous vintages of that wine…

Nose: Strawberry. Orange peel. Big fruit. High aroma intensity. Palate: Red fruits. Orange. Vanilla. High tannins. Medium minus acidity. Full body. Medium flavour intensity. Finish: Medium minus finish.

Nez d'une belle complexité, de cerise noire, d'eucalyptus, de fumé. Puissant sur de fruit noir, des tanins bien présents mais enrobés. Finale sur des notes torréfiées (cacao, café). Ça reste bien intégré malgré un élevage marqué et sujet à une belle évolution. Perso, je préfère les grenaches aériennes dans le Vinos de Madrid
