Nose is somewhat reserved, needed time for the aromatics to emerge. Spices, red and blue fruits with dried herbs, flowers and gravel filled the gentle but penetrating nose. Palate is rich and complex, probably lacking some freshness for such a young wine. Medium-bodied spicy mid-palate which had good length, rounding off with an alcoholic and spiced fruit cocktail finish. Re-tasted in May 2024. Very floral after an hour in the bottle. Red fruits and dried flowers filled the medium-bodied palate. …
