Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder

Dark purple color, clear. Cherry and chocolate on nose and palate Long finish. Still young and has some acidity and tannins. Great to drink in 5 and again in 10 years.

Tasted at the Rutherford Estate; this young wine shows all of the potential of an Atlas Peak cab. The tannin structure is big but should settle in a couple of years. The fruit flavors are big but currently are taking the passenger seat to the acid. Once this has aged a bit, the fruit should take over the drivers seat and bring some minerals in. I expect this to be an excellent wine as it ages.
