Strawberry, sous bois, savoury notes, herbs. Fine boned. Elegant and persistent.

Almost four years since my previous bottle. Cloudy, same as it ever was. Took an hour to begin showing its best. A mostly savoury thing. Sous bois, bit of leather, sweet spice, fruit peeps through on the finish. Tannin emerges more with air. Plenty of sediment in this bottle. I preferred the bottles I drank years ago but there's still joy to be had now.

Savoury, spicy and red berried fruit. Spectacular drinking for the price! Just lovely.

Wine was cloudy on opening so I opened another bottle guess what same result - cloudy wine , wine is under stelvin cap I know the wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined but this was really cloudy and browning on the edges As commented in one of the earlier comments the nose was OK and palate so the wine wasn't faulty just a bit dull I'll contact the winery and see what response I get Quick response back from winery …

Best bottle I've had so far and I reckon it could get better.

Had a mouthful when first opened and it was lovely and fresh. Decanted for about two hours and while it was still good, it just tastes a bit warm, but not drying out. Try another in a year.

A wine that has always needed time given its elevated acidity and stemminess. Drinking very nice now. Stalky pure pinot fruit both on the nose and palate - light weight but has an electric intensity on the palate from the fresh acidity and purity of the crunch fruit. Not that complex but a lovely wine with chicken or raw tuna.

Red berries and spice, a touch of stalky sourness toward the finish, plenty of tannin amongst the lovely slippery smooth mouth feel. Got better and better over 4 hours, then all gone.

On opening the wine was cloudy and while it didn't taste off, it certainly tasted like it was over the hill. Given other reviews and the fact that my wine is kept in climate controlled storage there is the possibility that there was something wrong with the seal. However it is the first one I have tried in two years and I need to try another to confirm it.

Cloudy. Raspberry, sour cherry. Very dry and savoury. Light weight. Good long finish. On second night, shows more fruit, forest floor and somewhat perversely more tannin structure. Bumped it up a point.

Very light in colour - quite cloudy. Very closed initially but opened up and more so on day 2. Fresh - raspberries and strawberries. Light and clean texture, certainly not overpowering. Almost floral palate - some sharpness at the end. I can see this adding a bit more weight in a couple of years but its good for the price now but not great.

That was the last of this batch! We originally had 18 for the wedding, and this one had the most bottles drunk, so I was only able to add 2 to my cellar at the end of the festivities. This hero status says a lot about this great value pinot noir. This was drunk over two nights, the best definitely came on the second night, although it has some approachable sour cherries and savoury characteristics right out of the blocks. …

Pale and cloudy crimson. The nose consists solely of candied red fruits. Very light body, overly oaked palate with a slightly warm finish. Really uninteresting. One of those pinots you find cowering in the glass and attempt to coax some enjoyment out of it.

aromatic, fresh, scent of raspberries, vanilla, taste of moca, vanilla, minerals, raspberries and undetectable tanins. the big let down is the mouth feel, it was a bit rough, somewhat abrasive with a bit of burning sensation.

Quite an unsual build for a sub $20 pinot. Very much about structure, and classic structure at that; with some tight acid, dry sour fruits (not intense though), almost dry to the point of showing a citrus character that you might see in Riesling. Sour raspberries too. This needs heaps of time and I’m surprise it has registered so well early with the critics. Must be decentered if drinking now but needs at least 2 years down. Love the dull …
