Tasted next to the 2003 Parcela El Nogal. Nicely evolved in terms of colour, more herbal, slightly mushroomy, more evolved on the nose. More structure and definition, more acidity and grip, lovely fruit and length. Excellent. 92-94

Single vineyard, 100% tempranillo. Very dark colour still with some youth evident at the edge of the glass. Big plummy nose with wafts of heather. Needs a bit of time to open up properly yet. Very rich on the palate and a touch spirity. Though the spirit does start to blow off a little with some time in the glass. Very smooth. Great power. Very good tannins.
