Bordeaux Star Performers Tasting (8 Danks street, Sydney) : Cassis! Slight herbaceous notes, vanilla hints and, on the palate, cassis and wet stone notes, juicy then tough, chewy, chalky tannin but the fruit persists below on the long finish. Okay, perhaps a bit worked but a nice job none the less. Yum.
