Housley's Century Oak Winery Cabernet Sauvignon

Very dark color all the way to the edge of the glass. Nose of bright cherries, vanilla, oak, and spice. Medium bodied with good structure. Tannins and acidity are fairly balanced. Flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, white pepper, oak, and star anise. This wine is bright with good dark fruit, and is drinking well now. Descent value at around $30.00. I decanted for 30 minutes, and it continued to open up with time.

Deep red color. Aromas of oak, fig and apple. Decent acidity but a bit thin on the pallette. Cherry predominates with some woodsy and red fruit flavors. Senior sweet. Shirt finish. Not bad!
