Clear, golden straw colour. Medium depth. 3/3 Honey and apples on the nose. Lychees, sweet, luscious. 6/7 Full bodied, mostly dry but with a hint of residual sugar. Soft, round, apple and grapefruit. A hint of bitterness. Mild acidity (MLF?) Aged characteristic, reminiscent of an aged Riesling (according to the label the wine had extended aging on lees). Even structure with a long delicate and interesting spicy finish. 8.5 or maybe 9/10
