Deep purple, cloudy with very fine particles despite decanting. Intense nose of dark cherry, fig, red fruits, pepper, five spice, smoke and herbs. Hints of tertiary flavours just starting to emerge. Tannins evolved but still present and powerful (M+), M+ acidity Plenty of life left in this wine. From Magnum. Decanted 1 hour, should have been longer as wine developed significantly over time.
