looks its age at the rim, very low depth of color. on the nose very aromatica... typcially spiced red and black fruits, florals, mostly integrated new oak. on the palate fresh with a very broad and sweet midpalate, finishes with moderate alcohol and a moderate amount of easy to enjoy tannins. drink up

By half glass. Well-made as ever. Softie wine, delicate aromas, feminine even but savory and sweet on the palate. Recognized style. Por media copa. Bien hecho como siempre. Vino suave, aromas delicados, femenino incluso pero sabroso y dulce en boca. Estilo reconocible.

This is a wonderful QPR. Ripe red cherry/raspberry fruit, some spicy/earthy complexity, good acidity. Not a lot of structure, and not especially serious, but this has real Pinot character. It's the CA counterpart to good Bourgogne Rouge, with enough ripe fruit to please more modern palates but no RS and good acidity to keep it balanced and pairing well with food. And it's $15! How do they do that? Most $15 U.S. Pinot is undrinkable swill. I served this wine …

Light, VERY earthy (& got earthier with air - black tea?), nice tannins; subtle fruit (black cherries?), notes of arugula(????); drinking surprisingly well for only 2 years old. Slightly more complex than anything else for the price, but not mind-blowing. A slight bitterness in the finish; otherwise I would have rated it higher.

Nice pinot....would buy again

Pleasant lighter Pinot Noir. Drinks well now, but might be a little better in a year.
