Deep amber in the glass. Heavy style, even for the 12.5% abv. Feels quite flabby and unbalanced. Then the palate has this strange yeasty, pilsner aftertaste. Not a well-made wine at all.

Rich gold colour. Lovely peachy aroma, quite a dessert wine profile. The totally dry taste comes as a shock. It's clean and taut, a bit ungenerous but well made and likely needs food to shine. [Rubber? cork; 12.5% abv; Woodwinters, £12.50].
