Henry of Pelham, Special Select Late Harvest Vidal, Ontario

Good wine. Similar in taste to the icewine version from the same producer just lighter over. Honey, pineapple, and butterscotch.\ Good value for about $15.

Overall a delicious wine. Nose is a bit reticent and simple, lots of floral aromas. Palate is very fruity, lots of acidity to balance the wine. A nice finish. This would certainly be a huge buy at $16-18, but it's probably a tad overpriced at the $24/375 mL that I paid for it. Update: Really fleshed out with a day or two corked in the refrigerator. Picked up some nice spice.

Drank with Mom and Dad's 30th Wedding Anniversary at Paese. From memory, beautiful gold colour, intense nose of apricot, orange marmalade, peach, some botrtis. Mouthwatering acidity, medium sweetness, long finish, fantastic with creme caramel, apple cheescake. Wonderful.
