I liked this more after an overnight carafe. Awesome cedar in the nose that follows onto the palette. Some minerality and tobacco notes in the mouth. Big blackberry and dark fruit also. It's a light structure that is almost Pinot like...no tannins at this point of maturity. There is an asparagus/celery note in the front of the palette that is unique in a good way, but that note is fleeting. As my reviews often state I'm a huge L&L fan. …

As good as usual. Big blackberry tastes and the usual leather vanilla notes. Very mature for a 10+ year bottle. Love my L&L cabs

Santa Barbara Trip - July 2011; 7/1/2011-7/6/2011 : Solvang Tasting Room. Nose of dark fruits, with some flowers peaking through. There is a good amount of blackberry and tobacco on the palate. There are good/smooth tannins that lead to a lingering aftertaste. Fine, but not exciting.

definitely improved over the 2 hrs it was open. Notes of black cherry with a pretty short finish.
