Cellar clean-up. We drank this magnum a while back and it was delicious! Black fruit, coffee bean, smoke. Great with grilled foods.

Much better than expected. Yes, internationally style, but remains fresh, lively, and well-balanced. A very clean effort. For the price, an absolute steal.

At Pam K's House in Sea Bright, NJ: What a delicious wine! Lovely, deep & complicated nose. Initially flavors of black fruit and raspberry, with just a few tannins on the finish. Very elegant & showy wine. We had it with grilled chicken (no sauce) and it was a good pairing.

Wine was ok but never really opened and showed as well as the prior bottle. From Winebid.com. $15 bid.

This was just about at its peak. Nicely mature but with decent fruit and a bare seam of refreshing tannin. Undeniably modern in style but good wine,

Our 1st bottle of Clos Badon. Initially the wine had a heavy taste of coffee bean, expresso and smoke on the finish. It was an interesting taste, but perhaps a bit simplistic. But with a couple of hours open (NOT decanted) the wine resolved itself to me more St. Emilion like, with a gorgeous, floral nose, berry flavors and with some chocolate on the finish. The tannins were all resolved and it drank very well. At 1st I thought it …

Bistro K: This started out very rustic and bitter earth--but may have been b/c wines were cold. Then turned softer and less astringent and actually quite nice. Peter P.
