Bright golden color. Pears, apples, and spice on the nose give way to rich flavors of white fruit, butter, and fresh herbs on the palate. The finish is just a bit hot. Otherwise, a very nice wine.

Pear, oak, tropical tasting. Crisp. This chardonnay, to me, was a very good bottle.

Beautiful but reticent aromas of ripe apples, pears, rocks with a subtle hint of spice. Aromas are rich without the vanilla spice of overoaking. Palate shows more ripe appples, pears, slight melon flavor undergirded by a minerally spice through the mid-palate. Finish is long with a lingering flavor that alternates between apples, pears, and wet rocks. Definitely no vanilla. Good acidity. One of the best CA chardonnays I've had in a very long time. 14.3% abv

Nose of floral and soft fruits, touch of citris. palate is crisp, with smooth mouth coating buttery sensation. Medium length of fruit with touch of mineral. Nicely balanced chardonnay, not too much oak, butter, or fruit. Well done.

Expressive, ripped. Tense but with good fruit and minerality. Lots of expression on the palate. A bargin at $25.

Beautifully rich without being buttery or oak. Ripe citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors, with definite mango notes.

Not your mama's oak and butter-bomb chardonnay! This is aged in neutral oak barrels so while this has a nice touch of oakiness to it, the fruit is still able to shine through and you get a great balance of both. Great bit of acidity as well makes this a very well rounded wine. We tasted all of their current offerings at the winery on this day and this stood out way above any other varietal or blend that they …

Good afternoon quaffer with crisp flavors and very little oak. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation so that kept it from becoming overly creamy or buttery. Price is $22 which may be a little high but since we were at the winery when we bought this bottle, we didn't have to pay the tasting fee so that sorta brings it down a bit.

Nose of pear and oak with an undertone of liquorice. The liquorice notes surprised me, but everyone at the table cofirmed the smell. Medium bodied. Crisp with pear and some raw oak. Nice balance in fruit and acid. Medium finish.
