Very nice Alsatian gewurtz. A bit on the sweet and slightly flabby side, but lovely tropical fruit/peach/orange blossom nose.

Smell has a bit of minerality that I don't find in the wine. Tastes of melon and pineapple. There is a bit of a thud in the mid pallate that is noticable and annoying. Also, on the sweet side, not quite a dessert wine.

Aromas of marigold and spiced pears are complemented by ripe nectarines and minerals. On the palate, the lavish flavors explode with sweet peaches, mandarin oranges, and candied ginger. A bold wine that goes great with bold dishes!
