Mooie strogele kleur, mooie concentratie. Frisse neus, citrus, pompelmoes. Vanille. Smaak wordt gedragen door aangename fruitzuren, in balans met zoet en bitter. Ook in de mond citrus, vanille.

One of the better, in the right hands, of Italy's rarer grapes, nice vibrant pear and citrus nose, fresh fruity mouthful but the acidity keeps it young, and very good value, a cracking hot summer lunch wine.

Osso Buco, Weybridge for lunch. New vintage ('17 noted elsewhere). Vibrant apple and pear fruit with a touch of aromatic cherry. Core of steely minerality and green herb with a crisp dry finish. Very good lunchtime fare. For drinking young.
