Red fruits, some floral notes. Mid weight. Lacks something in the middle. Nice, but not as good as my last bottle a couple of years ago. I would drink up.

This is really in a nice place right now. The nose is expressive with all sorts of root vegetable notes and the most engaging scent of rose petals. The palate is deep and silky. Black cherry fruit is sweet and lush yet has good minerally detail. The finish is fine and it is a wine of good power and finesse.

Maturing but still with clear edges. Deep fruit with red and black plum, red cherries, and black raspberry. Sappiness on the nose and soil notes on the palate. Smooth progression across the palate. Solid and friendly wine at this point with good typicity. 90-91

Spice, stems, floral notes. Red fruits, mid weight. Very nice long finish. I scored the Echezeaux a point higher, but both nice. 94

DIVA Burgundy Tasting; 3/21/2012-3/22/2012 (Maison Champy - Beaune) : Wine tasting. Perfumed nose to start with Asian five spice. Strawberry, red cherry aromas and flavors, modestly mature in an "age appropriate" manner. Well textured, energetic finish.

The nose is sappy, highly perfumed and ethereal with all sorts of enticing florals and laden with red and dark fruits. As it breathes there are smoked meat notes along with a hint of liquorice. In the mouth it possesses a gorgeously silky texture with a generous sweet heart. There’s good underlying muscle and it finishes bright, energetic and crunchy. An absolutely gorgeous ‘Gruenchers’ that is drinking so well right now but with plenty in reserve.

Liex-dits-cru Chambolle 'Northern' 1ers (Boka) : Pale pink/red color. Lovely bright red fruit spice and brown sugar on the nose. Nice balanced sweet red fruit with spice on the palate. Nice. 93+ pts.

Chambolle Musigny "Northside" 1er Cru Dinner (Boka - Chicago IL) : Tasted single blind. Medium red fruit with excellent spice and floral charm. Tasted blind, this easily showed its Dujac style. Spice and fruit followed through to the palate and finish. Very harmonious wine, even if a little short.

typical light dujac color- lovely nose of red fruits, minerals and cocoa powder. Palate is wide open and absolutely delicious- lush macerated cherries with a steely finish- well balanced- just great.
