Juicy mixed berries on the palate, with shrubbery, gravelly mineral earth, peppery spice, good tart acidity, and slightly rough tannins. The fruit has real poise, hinting at juicy exuberance while maintaining a cool climate kind of restraint and elegance, and it works well with the shrubby/herbaceous and gravelly mineral overtones.
