Domaine Stephane Magnien Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Les Faconnières

May 2025 Tasting Trip to Champagne, Burgundy and the Rhône; 5/22/2025-5/31/2025 (La Belle France) : Tasted at the domain. Barrel sample. Nose has rosehip, raspberry fruit and in the margins a couple of ppm of HP sauce. Palate has spicy plum fruit, some grenadine and a beautiful salinity. Really classy once more.
