Domaine Haut Campagnau (Dominique Andiran) Vin de Table Français Vain De Ru

This is located just outside of Gascogne so it must be labeled Vin de Table Français. Also, due to the designation, he's not allowed to put the year on the bottle, so he has chosen to put it on backwards (2102) and no one's seemed to complain yet... Also, due to the classification of not being Vin de Pays, he has a mocking nomenclature for this wine, "Vain De Ru" to sound similar. This is bottled completely without sulfur added. …

Oats on the nose with golden apple, meadow flowers and salt liquorice. Dry and medium bodied palate with mid-intense rounded fruit and nice acidic backbone. Some floral notes, pepper and oats. Slight tart citrus touch in the mid-length aftertaste. Highly quaffable wine without added sulfites.
