Spicy pear, rich and tingly. Really mouthfilling

Drank at home. The colour is bright clear yellow. The wine needs a bit of time to open up. In the nose the wine shows medium intensity, bright and clean, with lemon and citrus flavours. There is a nice leafy freshness with an underlying ripe stone, tropical and earthy notes. In the palate the wine feels even more frsh with medium to high acidity and chalky mouthfeel. A full bodied Furmint with a generous palate of tropical fruit and baked apple and pear but with a nice lick of minerailty and acidity to provide a lovely balanced wine. Very popular wine with the nine people we had dinner with.

It has medium acidity, herbal aromas, and flavours of lime, stone fruit, grass and honey. Refreshing, clean and savoury with some similarities to Riesling and cool climate Sauvignon Blanc yet with a distinctive character of its own.
