Bright and juicy and fresh. With a soft mid palate, a bit rounded, fresh.

I quite enjoyed it but others found it "light" and "beaujolais-esque." Not my opinion but there it is all the same.

Purple. Nose is dark berries ( morels / sweet cherry) , vanilla, tobacco and some licorice. Palate: follows the nose. Medium/low tannins , medium/high acidity. Fruity and well balanced Opened up nicely after about an hour. Went very well with steaks snd chips, mushrooms and bernaise. I'd say this is excellent QPR . Would consider a case of this

Bought 2 bottles. This was the second and good enough to buy more. Good depth and color, plenty of fruit. Major point--IT WAS TO OUR LIKING.

First of this vineyard and quite pleased. Very good everyday wine, dark in color, somewhat dry in taste, and a second taste as it descends into the body. No question there will be additional bottles on the next visit to Wineworks.

Nose is oak but more on the softer old oak side of the spectrum, not vanilla bourbon aggressive. Tobacco eucalyptus cherry soda. Great acidity up front, fun fruit, then takes a quick lactic turn on the finish, gravelly tannin that hangs on your tongue for a while. Not bad, curious to drink my other bottle when it’s not a baby…but also not rushing out to buy more.

They only use concrete for this bottling. 5 to 7 or 8 months of concrete. And then released as three different lots. The idea is to have first a style, easy to drink, and that is the most important thing. It’s the wine they …
