Blind Champagne Tasting : Ash, dark florals, spice and meat. Bright palate, good approachability. Medium length and very nice wine.

seems closed, dark fruit, some stemminnes (clearly a % whole bunches), touch spice; acid is not quite rigth, but otherwise OK even if a bit short, nice tannin struucture, buy and age?; next day sweet oak and swete furit (near confected) is obvious and unappealing, was thinking this might open up to show more but it's a crass thing instead, don't buy again

Vibrant purple. Initially seems a little closed. Beautiful aromas of cherries, strawberries and spice, pepper, and violets. Medium bodied, great weight. Flavours of red fruits, musk and spice. Elegant and savoury. Raspberries coated in pepper sitting on a line of fine tannins held together with a savoury, dark fruited backbone. Great silky mouth-feel. Needs a bit of time to fully resolve.
