Rekolan Panimo Munkintie

Only very slightly translucent, pretty hazy dark brown color with quite persistent beige head. Heady and quite sweet, dark-toned nose with aromas of dark syrup, sweet caramel, moderately toasty malt, some nuttiness and hints of raisins. Overall the nose reminds me quite a lot of Belgian Dubbel beers. Quite brooding, full-bodied and moderately sweet of the palate with low carbonation and soft, rich flavors of dark fruits, raisins, christmas spices, some nuts and hints of hop bitterness.
