Domaine Chanson Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières

Medium nose shows vanilla, green apple, white pear, peach pith. Palate gives modern style but also very Burgundian, so hints of oak kiss with vanilla, then fruit of apple, stone fruit, light funk. Finishes medium in length.

Deeper color; more butter, denser and more compact than the Charmes, almost nutty, lemon oil, vanilla custard; nice texture, lots of material here, lemon, oily, good mineral, slightly darker perspective with clay, nice sweetness to the fruit; very good.
