This tasted like an $8 bottle of wine. To fruity and jammy for my liking. No character.

Colour deep violet red, quite dark. On the nose distinct smell of dates, sweet. Taste also had notes of dates and spice. The wine was perfect with lasagne for dinner, but was not a wine for reflection on its own.

Good wine for the end of the night. A bit of a fruit bomb but for $7 at Costco I can't complain.

The Languedoc never seems to get its due credit, and this wine is a prime example. Brick red becoming orange on the rim; licorice, cherry, and spice; a nice balance of firm, mouth watering acidity with supple tannins. Don't be fooled by the silly sheep (or whatever) on the label, this drinks very well.

delicious fruit and vanilla oak nose. Less on the pallet, some currant and bing cherry. A little thin, but a decent medium finish. VERY DRINKABLE
