60 minute decant. Nose of dark cherries, bloody meat, and smoked meat. Palate delivers a dense beam of black cherry and purple fruit that expands across the tongue with white pepper, bacon fat, and dried oregano. Aggressively dry finish with firm tannins and ashtray elements, adding a touch of black fruit, olive brine, and light floral notes.

Full bodied syrah. A bit of funk on opening that blew off very quickly. From a tiny 1 acre site. Best day #1, became more flat with air exposure.

PnP. Nose of blueberry, cremini mushroom, and a sharp spice note. Racy red raspberry and rocks followed by some blue fruit, then fading into dried herbs with some coffee ground notes. Fat tannins, black raspberry, anise, and wet rocky soil on the finish, ending in an oak note. A little room to improve with age. 92+ points.

Double decant. Dark fruits. Rich conentrated and meaty. A delicious wine that is full bodied and well rounded.
