Wine Education Service - The New Spain : Translucent with a bit of age. Lovely oaky aromas with some sweet ripe fruit. Fruity, oak, very soft tannins, slightly disappointing in the month, ready, quite long.

Wine Education Service - Ribera del Duero (LSE) : Just translucent. Lovely fresh, gentle fruit, youthful. Brambles and other black and red fruits, very soft tannins, very quaffable, good length.

Part of Iberia business catering Cepa Gavilán 08 Seems to be PX. Dark inspiration. A picture of Zurbarán in the glass. Coal nose, wet earth, lead pencil for sure. Deep perfumed. Rich, plenty palate but softtie with nice tannins, those i like it. It is not a velvety wine but try it a few years ahead. Recommended. Interesting yet some traces of elegance. Parece un PX. Inspiración obscura. Un cuadro de Zurbarán en la copa. Nariz a carbon, tierra mojada, …

Taut and poised, showing dark plummy fruits which are expressed with impressive purity. Well integrated oak and decent length for a wine of this price. Full-on but with lovely tannins and acidic moderation which pulls everything together well. Very good for the money.
