Unlike the previous vintage bottle with which something was not quite right, this one is good. Very dense dark ruby much like Welch's grape juice. Medium plus, just under full bodied. Still tannic, traces of typical Chilean reds, but dark fruits like blueberry, blackberry, some hint of cedar, just a little milk. Bitter, structured mid palate. Good acidity, too. Needs some time. Best if bottle breathed an hour and enjoyed next day.

Aged very well. No green bell pepper notes which is most interesting and important to me. I really think all Cabo de Hornos must be aged for at least 8 years. Great wine with lamb. Cheers!

Good, but a little disappointing to what a expected... Very new world, lots of ripe fruits, jam and some background herbal notes.

Nice color, overall a very well made wine, good structure and balance, fine tannins and pleasant acidity, notes of currant, cedar, figs (yes), quite a bit of berries. Very nice wine. Was a gift so I don't know how much it is.
