OMG!! Inky black in the glass. Beautiful black raspberry perfume nose. Ripe blackberry fruit soft tannins and balanced acidity in the mouth with a lengthy mineral finish. Yum!!

This bottle of 01 small production Argentinian Malbec aged well over the 10+ years it spent in the cellar. Very little bricking and did not throw much sediment. Some spice notes and a long, long finish.

Dark purple in the glass with loads of dark fruit on both the nose and palate. Blackberry, blueberry, plum dominate. Well integrated acidity and firm but supple tannins evolve into amouth watering lengthy finish.

At its peak. If you have this wine it is fantastic to drink up. Balanced structure that is more than just fruit. One of the best from Argentina.

Not as thick or dark as some malbecs, more of a ruby red. Takes a while to open up, decanting would have been a good idea. Chocolate and licorice. Lush nose and taste, like eating a chocolate bar. The finish however is the most remarkable feature, and probably what has rocketed the ratings. Justifiably so, and might have recieved more attention if it weren't from such an obscure source, and if it weren't so expensive (and hard to find). Only …
