Château de Beaucastel Côtes du Rhône Coudoulet de Beaucastel

Matt's housewarming (Skokie, IL) : Surprisingly, still alive. Not good, but alive. I was joking that white Rhone is easy to age, since every time I see a bottle, I'll say "not today". In any case, this was still quite a heady wine, and there was some heat on it. Quite waxy, and there's a nice vein of acidity that seems to have kept this going; I'd have liked this a lot more if the heat wasn't so prominent.
