Mount Etna (Hinchcliff house, Young Street) : medium minus intensity aromas prove waxy slight lemon, fairly neutral nose, slightly herbaceous. Juicy, a little funky and yeasty on the palate. Nah.

med yellow; light nose more herbal than fruity but there were some peach notes and a little honeydew melon; light bodied, very pleasant; good acidic finish was not too extreme; medium finish

Poured my first glass at cellar temperature, and it was mute and a bit flabby. Put the bottle in the fridge and tried again the next night. Huge difference. Tasted like an F.X. Pichler gruner veltliner. Excellent value.

Southern Italy (Lou's) : Light golden in color. The nose is vanilla lemon cream sickle. Odd as I doubt this seems any oak at all. Still, very strong flavor. Light to medium bodied. Slightly tinny on the attack. Turns to lemons with a good finish. I wouldn't mind a bit more acidity, but this is nice. My first time trying a Carricante IIRC.
