By the glass at the BA lounge. Not a fresh bottle. Light pale greenish colour. Quite grassy on the nose, light citrus, green fruit note. On the palate it's quite firm with good acity and albeit on the straight forward side this relatively simple wine demands respect. Not pretentious, quite pure and pretty nice. Will not win miss complexity 2014 but quite enjoyable. Good 89-90 and drink now.

An airborne dinner (British Airways flight 0287, London Heathrow - San Francisco) : Pale white gold; very expressive nose, perfumed, pear, peach, flowers, hint of grass; light and soft palate, easy but with lovely varietal typicity and very subtle bitters; good length. Speciously attractive.
