after a run of quite good bottles of this wine, and a re-order, the last couple bottles have been less than thrilling. This one was strange-tasting on the pop and pour, maybe some volatile acidity together with I'm not sure. It did get to be drinkable as it remained open, but never equaled the good bottles

Solid mid-week wine with An even better QPR . I’m enjoying the SMV of Central coast for what must be cool night but warm days. The Pinot is highl y expressive!

This bottle was not cloudy, and more reddish than orange around the rim. Nothing wrong with it, but it was less aromatic and less interesting on the palate than some of the bottles that seemed advanced/funky

Visually, this wasn't as advanced (ie orange and VERY cloudy) as a bottle from a different vendor a while back, but was similar on the palate. This didn't show any indications of secondary fermentation. If there was volatile acidity in this bottle, it wasn't apparent. That said, there is something a little off in this wine, but whatever it is, give me more. Despite or because of that, the wine is savory, earthy, mushroomy and delightful. Not for someone looking …

Last bottle of the 4 that I purchased, suffering from the same problem as the rest of them. Secondary fermentation in the bottle created effervescence and rendered the wine undrinkable. Got a full refund from the retailer. What a shame.

Well, I'm looking at all the positive reviews and thinking either these are crazy people or industry folks with an agenda because when I opened the bottle, I thought, yikes, this is undrinkable. This has the feral energy reminiscent of a Chandon de Brailles Pernand--volatile, edgy, and tactile, with enough of a smooth lining to get to a delicious core of sour cherry, hibiscus, sweet pomegranate and cranberry fruit, finishing on a flash of acidity and a gentle bite. An exciting wine.

And this bottle was fantastic ….. Very volatile wine here, last one was edgedy, blown.. Drink this junk up, and hopefully you get a good one. Not a rebuy from the discounters again ….buyers beware .
