Easily a 92pt wine and no way over the hill. Right in the sweet spot. Anyone who said otherwise must have stored this in a wine rack next to the oven in the kitchen. This was stored at 58F since receiving it from the winery. This is amazing juice like only Kevin can seemingly produce from WA State. It does not taste like the same blend of grapes from say Paso Robles at all. But amazing still the same.

Day 1: Amazing wine with minerals, floral, rust, raspberries, strawberries and pepper. Complex and vibrant wine. Nice acidity. Hard to beat this effort. 93 points Day 2: Not as good. Rust, raspberries, spice, earth, some heat and medium finish. A bit too much floral. 89 points. Day 3: A bit better than day 2 but not as good as day 1. This and the “La Paysanne” Mourverde are my two favorite of Kevin’s wines. This is very food friendly and delicious and a solid buy. Lots of spice and red fruit.

Always deliciously ripe fruit that pushes the modern envelope, but stays balanced with great acids.

25 min decant. V - Clear, pale garnet with significant meniscus, high viscosity N - More savory. Bramble and green herbs, gravel, chalk, perhaps coffee underpinned by black cherry and black currant. P - Raspberry, Cherry, both red and black currant - (possible?). Green herbs and there is the coffee again. Struct - Dry, Med+ body, med acidity, fine/med tannins, Med+ length and med+ complexity. Energy/zest,spice and alcohol. Enjoyable.

Day 1: For sure past peak. One of the bigger Kevin White fans in the world but this is a boring and not interesting wine at this point. Earth, water, minerals and celery. Very little left here. This is just past peak and not flawed in any way. 82 points Day 3 & 4: So no go here. This is a tired wine past its peak. Tobacco, earth, diluted and light fruits. Not much left here. 45 min decant Clear, medium/deep purple with minimal meniscus, high viscosity. N was more oaky than expected, with bramble and red fruit. Palate was wonderful. Raspberry, cherry, pepper, baking spices, coffee and an iron finish. Fruit, then pepper, then bramble, then the iron. Well balanced, fine/medium tannins, med+ acid and med+ body. Initial thought was this is a Walls blend. Well done!

HG's. Very light Beaujolais-ish body but sweeter and simpler than a Bojo would be. Did not enjoy.

90pts. A wine that improved with age based on previous notes from 2019, 2020 and 2021. This time it had its best showing. Tannins were mild, blue berry, black currant fruits. Very good QPR all these years later. Not sure it will improve from here though, in its prime right now.

4 Kevin White Wines : Tasted next to the 2017 La Fraternite & En Hommage. Solid but not as good as the 2017 version. Raspberries, floral, earth, mild funk and minerals. A bit shorter finish than the 17. I don't see this wine as a long term ager and consume from now to 2024.

Another impressive showing from this producer, P&P. As my domestic Grenache is down to 2 bottles, this was an excellent counter to my lack of enthusiasm for this grape from outside of France. Ripe, but full of energy, framboise on the nose, ripe strawberry on the palate. great spices added too.

Unlike the Pinots we had earlier in the evening, this wine was an amazing QPR. Good Rhone blend. I think I might have preferred it to the Orin Swift that we had the other night and this was half the price. Still a touch on the heavier red fruit side which was an adjustment and could have used a hint more acidity to balance, but a good easy drinking wine for the price.

Decanted for over an hour. Incredible floral nose with cherry, pepper, a hint of bitter chocolate and spiced rum. Palate like the smoothest coffee combined with the most fragrant and rich flowers, some cherry, fresh strawberry, a bit of blueberry, black liquorice, black pepper and the tiniest bit of sage. It's very easy drinking but still quite complex. It's what I would expect from a high end Plan de Dieu or similar CdR Village. Now I just have to find …

Needs a little air to fill out a bit. Terrific nose of mulberries, blackberries, smoke, flowers, strawberries, cherries, licorice, earth, a touch of deli, and some spice. Blackberries, red cherries, earth, herbs, a bit of saline, meat, and green olive on the palate. Beautiful juicy acidity, long-ish finish, decent structure, light body but big flavors. This is very impressive, and this might be the QPR of the year.

Kevin has absolutely killed it on this one! Great fruit great structure great finish. Drank 3 bottles over 2 weeks with various folks and this consistently blew peoples minds. Especially when I told them how much he was charging for it. Great acid, no awkwardness, enough there to keep you interested, not thin or watered down feeling. Great with food. Will definitely be back for more at these prices. I have found my rhone style wine maker! Great job!

This wine had subtle red fruit balanced nicely with acid. The tannins are already soft and well integrated. It had a delightful finish. I was looking for a touch more spice and body. That said, it is an amazing wine for the price. I'm a huge fan.
