Sierra Madre Vineyard Pinot Noir

medium bodied. earthy, cherry nose, carries through to palate, a little spritzy though that subsidied after being open for a while, spicy finish. I'd drink it now before too much of the fruit fades.

Earthy nose, medium tannins. Very drinkable. Terrific bargain at $17

Garnet colored. Medium Legs, rich earthy aroma, slight hint of Rubber, Tastes earthy inital rubber fading into complex cherry apricot fruit. Touch of oxidation on finish. Enjoyable, but drink soon and upon opening bottle.

7 months since my first tasting note for this wine. In the interim it has opened up and become more seamless. An expansive nose full of cherries, plums, leather and dust is the first impression. The taste does not disappoint either with abundant cherries, cola and spices. The taste lingers and spices persists. The tanins are rounded and mild. Westgate Wines in Raleigh purchased all that remained of the 2009 vintage from Sierra Madre Winery. Great price

A new world Pinot nose. A full mouth feel with slightest tannins bite. Paired well with Rosemary grilled veal. Definitely in its drinking window.

This bottle was not as good as the first one. Still enjoyed it, but a little too bubbly.

Very Nice Pinot. Full Body and great flavor

Cherries, leather and loam are on the nose. It does not disappoint on taste with big flavors that mirror the aroma. Ready to drink now.
