Not fruity in the glou-glou/saccharine way many frappatos (like the Mandragola) are. quite high acid. low tannin. earthy. spiced raspberry, red flowers, and tar. great length and texture on account of the acid I'd honestly call this as a nebbiolo from alto-piemonte if the tannin were higher. frappato deliciousness meets alto-piemonte's acid and earth. really, really nice wine. fantastic qpr
