Much more assertive than the Testalonga El Bandito Chenin Skin Contact tasted alongside it. This wine had the acidity and minerality that the former lacked. A pert and quaffable Chenin, well balanced fruit and acidity, with a nice tingly minerality on a medium long finish. I was expecting these Testalonga wines to be wilder than they are. Natural wine. Cloudy straw gold. Honey, citrus, plastic, rubber, apple cider. Slightly waxy rounded texture, effervescence, good rip of acid. Chalky minerality, salt, grapefruit, honey'd almonds, more plastic/rubber on the palate. Really interesting and enjoyable w/ food.
