Llano Estacado Signature Melange

All things considered,it was much better than I expected based on other reviews. Yes, it was light but it's a Texas wine and a blend of some rather wide ranging varietals. Went well with chicken Marsala dinner. I would say it's vale exceeded its price point and bets the daylights out os the garden variety house wines served at hotel functions and the like. I enjoyed it and I give it an 86-88 rating

Over the hill

Pretty average. Drinkable, but not great. Nose was a touch stinky, with some light black fruit. The taste was ok, thin mouthfeel, with black and some red fruit. It did have some good earthiness and a touch of spice. Some sediment in bottle.

Expected more depth here; a bit thin. Shouldn't have been out of date but seemed almost like it was just past its prime.
