Notes taken about 90 min after opening. Color is is purple/red with some bricking around the edges. Nose has some earthy fruit,vanilla oak and a hint of alcohol. Palate has balanced black cherry, some earthy vanilla and a touch of oak. A touch of pepper and tannins on the finish. First tasted this 2 years ago. This has evolved considerably, as I'm sure my palate has as well.

A lot of spice on the nose, some dark fruit and black pepper. Flavors were strong and not that pleasant. Lots of alcohol.
