My previous bottle was somewhat closed down on opening, and this was similar. But within an hour or two, it was singing, with lanolin, apricot, lemon custard, honeycomb, and the slightest hint (perhaps illusory) of sweetness. Next bottle will wait another 4 years.

Really delicious with a bit of citrus acidity, deep golden hue, very dry. Still many years left to go and hopefully we can hold off and see how this develops over next 10 years.

Darker color shows the age. Mid-full body. Touch of lemon, white fruit, mineral. Flavor like licking envelope glue. Definately Dry. 86 points. Better on day 2: Not as tight, more fruit (green apple, unripe pear), less citrus, same mineral.

This had some promise on the pop and pour with some white peach and pear. A good swirl brought out a pretty riesling-nose, but the uncorked bottle never really opened up. I'm not getting a lot of acidity here either...

Golden colored. A little closed down the first night (served with Maryland crab cakes), but still very good. The second night notes of lanolin, lemon custard, slate, and hints of tropical fruit. Very nice.

With crab/avocado tower and a salad. Nice. Crisp, clean. This one was better initially than the previous bottle, gave it some air before drinking. Excellent.

Solidly dry, very nice, but not pop & pour. Was considerably better the next day. Good body, golden color, great with food. Bracing. I like this.

Really enjoyed this wine. Tropical fruits with a mineral base that implied a visual of smooth, white stone in my mind's eye. Good overall balance. Believe it or not it paired very well with sautéed Chilean Sea Bass with which we served a side of Linguini a la Vodka and Broccolini. Eclectic to be sure but this wine pulled it all together.
