Very dark magenta color. The pure essence of WA fruit, delivering a full blast of blackberry pie and chocolate covered blueberry, with fresh cedar spring growth. Finish is round and soft, with just a hint of too much tannin at the very end. But really, this is right in it's prime, shining with full clarity of terroir. Drink now with steak or pizza, depending on how much effort you want to put in.

Wine B: Purple, pop and pour. Nice nose of cherries, and blueberry. Supple and integrated tannins, with a smooth, long finish. This was a surprise, as it was predominately cab, with mixes of cab franc, and merlot. Delicious.

Amaurice certainly joins the list with this blend of Cabernet, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Opened an hour before serving. The nose started out tight but loosened up as we drank. Rose petals and cassis on the nose. Just the most intense flavors without being anything like a fruit bomb. Chocolate covered bing cherry flavors with tones …

Delicious cabernet-dominated blend. Lots of forward fruit. A little sweet. Soft black fruit flavors.
