Mt. Monster Cabernet Sauvignon

Color of blue red, aromas of pepper and roses. The flavors are black cherry and wood. The body is heavy, the acidity is crisp, the tannins are good. This wine is smooth and crisp with flavors of dark fruit, wood , pepper and roses nicely layered and the elements all well integrated.

Nose of young fruit, tasted stems/green plant on the initial pallate followed by a quick and tart finish.

red berry, currant and spice on the nose. ripe cherry and dark fruit with soft tannins on the palate. notes of cinnamon, vanilla and white pepper with a hint of earth and leather. medium finish. something just slightly off. good every day drinking cab that is different from your typical california cab.

Short finish, but smooth. Not overly fruity. Great company for Halloween Butterfingers. Very inoffensive to wine newbies. For the more developed palate, this may not satisfy, but it's a safe bet to take to book club or a holiday party.

Little aroma. Cherries on the initial attack, but then nothing. And a very short finish. Best described as hollow.

Wouldn't get this again. Very mild and what flavor there is takes like old grape juice. It is smooth though. Spicy nose but the spice doesn't come through.
