The nose is resinous with notes of nut and vanilla. The palate entry is clean and fresh, surprisingly for a mature Chenin. The core is dynamic, crisp white fruit finishing with a full-bodied toastiness. Drink 2021 - 2025. Tasted as part of 'The Unicorns' with John Skupny. Drink 2021 - 2025.

Ripe, dry, tropical, and woolly, with some weight, like a very ripe vintage of Le Mont sec more than anything else I can think of, though not as structured as that. A big, complex wine for immediate pleasure and major Chenin blanc typical-ness.
