Strong Portuguese profile. Blackberry and mint on the bouquet and palate. A little heavy on oak treatment. A touch biting at the back and finish.

The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting (Lyon's Den) : Great start to the flight, this bottle included black and blue berries, chocolate, stone, and a floral note. Long, deep and still fairly tannic. Those tannins were more obvious on day 2: 92 pts. Now-2026

Lovely dark color, smoothly integrated tannins, tasty black fruit and a dry finish with some grip. Primary flavors seem muted, tertiary flavors are still developing. Elegant now but should continue to evolve.

Pretty dark purple color. First slightly closed, needs some air to open up, Then nice aromatics of plums, red fruits, cedar wood, some sweet spices, smoke, also some minerality, cigar, cinnamon, pepper, also a touch of dark chocolate. It‘s medum-full bodied, elegant, and has nice medium-high acidity as well as medium+ tannin providing structure and grip. Good length.
