Last bottle. Had a good run with this wine, terrific fruit and acidity with only the slightly over-present oak keeping it from perfect balance. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Poured through Vinturi. First night there was something akin to a smoke taint that blew off with some air, and was completely gone on the second night. Dark cherry and pomegranate, oak, good acidity with fine tannins. Very good indeed, and holding up well.

Cherry, oaky goodness. Just what you'd expect from a Gap's Crown Pinot. Nice toasty oak that's not overly prominent. The flourish comes late and extends the finish. Easily has a few years of cellar time left.
